I've always loved the Paramount! The building itself is pretty old, BUT the only thing this fact does for the venue is add charm to it. There really aren't many drawbacks to the building being as old as it is, and I honestly prefer shows that perform here more than I do other venues. The sound and acoustics are still outstanding, the lighting displays are on point and creative, and the sophisticated opera house vibe immediately invokes a bit of excitement when you first walk in for a show. As long as you're not expecting brand new comfortably spacious seats or other modernized experiences, you'll love this place! I included pics of the recent Tori Amos show to give an example of the awesome lighting effects, and the BEAUTIFUL architectural details on the ceiling. (My seat was in literally the very last back row of the venue, for reference)

I went to see Tori Amos here, it was my first time inside a theatre like this, and it was truly gorgeous! The atmosphere sent me back in time, and seeing Tori live was an unforgettable experience!

This venue is just amazing! I saw Trixie and Katya on Tour in March 2022. The place is so beautiful inside. It may look like it’s and theatre but it’s well conserved on the inside. The lights and the attention to detail is incredible. The acoustic is great too! Awesome experience.

Have been there twice now and was very impressed with their Covid protocol. The line was so long yet they were very fast to let us in. Bathrooms are clean with plenty of stalls, drinks and snacks pricey as expected but delicious cider options. Enough space to dance and enjoy the show, although I wish they would add a platform on stage for a better view. Regardless, magical!!

There is no elevator. Accessible restroom main floor and requests for wheelchair accessible seating when purchasing tickets
Call in and make a reservation with customer service.
It appears there is only one performance of this and it is at 6.30pm
No, get the aisle z seat asyou have better ability to have your leg straight
Around 2500 or so. Don't know the exact numbers. Yes there a wheelchair accessible.
Exit 165B for Union street coming from I-5 north
I just went for a show! I'm not info service, Ticketmaster or etc...!
Yeah they have them, there is usually a person by the stairs and you could ask them for the seat.
I believe, a couple of concerts have been. Your best bet is to call the theater.
The Paramount Theatre box office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm for ticket purchases. The box office is closed on most major holidays. In the evening and on weekends, the box offices open 90 minutes prior to showtime for sales to that day's event.
Yes
Approximately 78.8921 degrees Fahrenheit in the summer, with the temperature fluctuating with a downward trend by 2-3 thousanths of a degree each month as we move from summer solstice towards winter solstice, with the trend reversing itself as the earth swings back around and we head towards summer solstice again. I hope this was helpful. Have a pleasant applesauce and to all, I bid you good eve'.
Contact their fan club via Google. They should have a lost of performances
Probably, they did have wheel chair friendly seating area. Not sure if they have actual wheel chairs. Your best bet would be to call and confirm.
Yes it does
The convention center parking
Yes proof of vaccination is still required, as well as wearing a mask. If you have a medical condition or religious belief preventing vaccination, their website says that you can show proof of negative PCR test within 48 hours of performance.
A couple of blocks away. either on 7th or 9th. If you go early there is a good affordable garage on Melrose. You can also park down the hill in like pack place or there are a couple of hotels that have garages
I usually park at the convention center. I paid 7 bucks for the last event.
Yes
I didn't see anyone with posters made at home.
Yes with proof of vaccination and facemask.
Yes. Typically light refreshments are sold and alcoholic beverages are sold as well as non alcoholic beverages.
Shows are being cancelled currently.
Yes. They are accessible to wheel chairs and have specific areas for seating. I used to sit next to a motorized wheel chair.
So sorry. I have no idea
10 am.
Homewood Suites, Grand Hyatt, Hotel Theodore, and Paramount Hotel are all two or three blocks away.
Yes to volunteers. Especially if you have experience perpetuating racism
Since the Paramount is owned by STG, I do not believe so. These are the theaters they manage: https://www.stgpresents.org/theatres/directions-parking And the outside venues: https://www.stgpresents.org/theatres/outside-venues Most of the shows I've seen by STG have been sold out before the day of the event.
You have asked Google Guides, not the actual theater. I suggest yoyou check their website or give them a call.
Maybe at the box office?? Call them
Probably not. The venue is small enough that one isn't really needed.
I would call them up. I can't imagine they would say no. Especially on non show nights.
The parking tickets are good but the lot is a few blocks away, under a building on Olive with 8th. A bit unintuitive.
Correct, you'll need to show a digital form of the QR code for Wicked
I believe it's a virtual ticket stored on your phone
If it's a Broadway show, the tour may require the usher staff to keep you outside the auditorium during certain songs/scenes before you can be seated. This is to ensure that quiet moments are not disrupted and light from the doors doesn't ruin any special effects. Generally after the first few songs of the act, you can go in and out freely.
That was my only complaint was everyone just kinda sat and watched. By the end a few of us were dancing over on the side but it was frowned upon
School of Rock is happening.
I have no idea if s m y l tickets are available at the Paramount currently? I don't even know who that is I'm so sorry
Limited seating. Everyone was kind getting us seated
Open captioning and American sign language for select performances. Contact the theater about the specific event you want. They also have digital listening devices free of charge on a first come first serve basis.
We had paid parking with our tickets. It was in a garage at 7th and Stewart, a three to four block walk from the theater. There is other parking on 7th by Gameworks near Pacific Place (mall) about a block and a half away but it is pay as you park at their rates. There was no valet parking.
No way
Probably not, because its downtown the roads will be salted no?
They should let you in with it but, they will check the contents at the door.
Hello! Tonight's show with Greta Van Fleet has general admission (GA) seating in the balcony. That means that seats in the balcony are first come, first seated. Hope that helps, and hope you have a great time!
It will be searched and your asked not to get up only during intermission
January 15th
No, they dont have any lockers they check bags so you should just leave anything else in your car.
I think it was just under 2 hours.
Yes
The line up outside on the sidewalk can be very long so if weather is bad you want to be there at least an hour before the doors open and remember parking is a challenge but thereare two parking garages close by 4 to 5 blocks walk. Spendy. Take the bus
There is handicap seating and for those attending. Regarding the medical backpack, it will likely depend on the performance. If its the kind of show where they say no bags or backpacks, they will say in advance. They usually do a very brief bag search and then move you along. The Paramount is nice and the staff friendly. The crowds are chill if you go to a chill show. If you go to a rave, they can get rowdy.
Hi Colby - details on our Paramount Club can be found at stgpresents.org/club/paramount. Hope that helps!
mid theatre on the ground floor, off to the side. From the webside, "Each side of the main floor is lined with smaller, slightly elevated sections, which are wheelchair accessible. Most of these sections contain three rows. Seat 1 in each of these rows is closest to center, but not an aisle. Row B has removable seats allowing room for a wheelchair. Tickets in these sections will show the section as "SEC" followed by the section letter A, B, C, D or E."
Try calling to get the right answer
Depends on the show. Walked right into Ben Howard. Was frisked for Chris Rock.
They offer food and drinks at every event, however I recently discovered that the adult sippycups are not available at every event.
Its not the paramount that makes that decision it's the show
I want to Candlebox and I found parking online a 3-minute walk for $8. 75 from 7 in the night at night till 2 in the morning so it isn't that much
$35 for mez seats around $130 for main floor
Hi 84 Slices of Cake! The 5 Seconds of Summer show is general admission standing room on the main floor, and general admission seating in the balcony. Any number associated with the order is related to capacity / tracking purposes and not to a specific seat. Sorry for any confusion and hope you have a great time!
GA is not assigned seating.
Ground level definitely.
They have a running Visio feed with text of the show
There isn't exactly a news letter but you can sign up for email where they will send you info on upcoming concerts/shows and tell a bit about the charitable work they're doing threw out the year.
According to some Google searches: "Les Misérables lasts for 2 hours and 50 minutes, including a 20 minute interval."
Each show is different but usually about 3 hours with intermission.
I'm sure accommodations can be made to store a walker. There's plenty of accessible seating. Call the bix office for more information.
Agree with above. All GA are created equal.
I don't think so & certainly not for Hamilton.
It's 3 blocks away (when exiting from Nordstrom) and very walkable from the light rail station
Doors open an hour before curtain and the house (where you sit) opens 30 min before
I dont understand your question. The paramount theater is a place to go see plays, musicals, concerts, etc.
I am bot sure i understand your question... The cost is dependent on what show you are seeing, where your seats are, what day of the week it is, when the date falls into the run of the show. The first week of the show during the week is typically less money than later in the run of the shoe and any weekend evenings or matinees etc.
I would suggest you buy your tickets ahead of time. I was not involved with the tickets purchase because my niece has a yearly pass and it entitles the pass holder 2 tickets a month. Buy your tickets ahead of time!!!
Depends on the show, but for the most part yes. Most plays and musicals would be all ages, some concerts might be 21 and up. Probably not a huge concern at this venue.
In the front 3 rows on either side, they had the speakers right next to the seats.
Every person needs a ticket, including the 1 year old. Babes in arms are not allowed. Under 4 is discouraged.
