We love this park! It's never crowded, I think the most people I've ever seen at once were maybe 3 other families. The park is clean and well taken care of, great place to go for a walk, have a picnic and there are multiple playground areas! ❤️

Very quiet and relaxing. The grounds and restrooms are very well maintained. The staff is friendly. The trails are good and you can enjoy nature.

I've been fishing here for years and I am not aware of any catfish, I've tried to throw worms on the bottom in the middle but only caught bluegill, crappie, and bass.

No reservations. Find a site and set up, and park supervisor collects in the evening. Vigo county parks department website https://www.vigocounty.in.gov/egov/apps/services/index.egov?view=detail;id=18
Pull in setup and Rhonda will be there to collect they have no reservations
No, camping only May to Oct.
Not bad in the lower pond. Never had much luck in the upper pond except for Bluegill
Small sunfish and some blue gill....quiet and peaceful but not sizeable trophy fishing.
