This was an excellent dollar tree. Big store, great selection, nice lady at the check out. Well stocked shelves. Definitely a return visit to this place The people working there have been great, this is fav dotree in the area

I’ve been to this Dollar Tree many times, I usually go 2-4 times a month. Today, was a beyond terrible experience. The cashier made me wait 5 minutes at the register before checking my items out. Then she asked if I wanted to pay for bags, I said no I brought mine and handed them to her. She proceeds to scan all my items and place them right next to my bags. I didn’t say anything, thinking maybe she will bag them at the end. So I pay for my stuff, then as soon as I’m done paying she literally walks away without saying a word. Didn’t bag a single item, didn’t acknowledge it, or say anything whatsoever. I have NEVER not had my items bagged at Dollar Tree. What kind of new laziness is this? Why even bother asking about my bag preference if you clearly weren’t going to bag my stuff?! I wouldn’t care if it was 4-5 items, but I literally bought 50 things!

One of the better stocks and staff for Dollar trees actually go out of my way to come to this one typically when the other places are out of the name brands they have it unfortunately it replaced the QFC in this location which was a much better option but it's unfortunate that Des Moines doesn't offer a grocery store outside of the ones off of pack highway.
