Once for the monthly and weekly for bread
Just show up and fill out a form. You must have id with Des Moines address and something with address on it such as a utility bill. They are open M W F 9 - 11:45 am
Yes.
Once a month except for November & December when you get a 2nd visit due to the holidays. Very well run food bank.
Mon, Wen, Fri 9-11:45am; 2nd Tuesday each month 6-8pm.
I recently volunteered at their food bank. They can help you with food.
I would suggest calling a local church or who gives out alot to kids is Salvation Army or Toys for Tots which is ran from our US Marines. You can look them up on Google n they can tell you where to donate close by ur home n sometimes they have someone who will come by n pick up your gifts. My preference is always going to be Salvation Army since they give a gift to all children including those in foster care and orphanages besides those parents who can't afford to buy one. Salvation Army helps in so many ways from senior citizen, transportation to help with food n utilities n mostly they help with housing no matter the reason which is how they are trying to help me n my family. Thank you for taking the time to help out a child, your gift will brighten the heart of a young child.

Yes
Bread & Produce room is open Monday-Friday. (9-2:30)
The food bank serves most of the city of SeaTac.
For monthly food bank service, you can come any day they are open. So, you could come the last week of one month, and the first week of the next. Plus, daily bread & produce room visits.
Open M, W, F each week. While it is primarily for people in the area, said area encompasses a large area and is not limited to merely one city. In addition, allowances are made for still others on a limited opportunity basis. A call to the facility will better glean more precise current info if this nature as the exact 'limits of service range' are subject to variance due to potential situations.
No. Just lots of food.
Yes. They give out meat. It is almost like a grocery store. They have boxes of staples which you get to choose from. The amount is based on your family size. Then they have meat that has been frozen which again you get to choose from. There are usually onions and potatoes, also boxes of bread that you can take as much as you want. Dairy is usually pretty limited. There are almost always out of date sandwiches and salads from trader Joe's. Then pastries and finally fruits and vegetables. All of them are past date and can't be sold. There is also an ante room that contains more vegetables and breads. Be careful in there as they are not good enough quality to be in the main room. Overall, expect to come out with a full grocery cart and plenty of food picked by you
The food bank served all of Des Moines, most of SeaTac and the west hill of Kent. If you are not sure, you can show up and they will give you food. If there is a closer food bank to where you live, they will give you that information.
As far as I remember, they are open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9 a.m to noon, except holidays
The Electric bill with your Name and Address and the iD's of everyone living in your Home , I suggest taking a picture of everyone's Identification cards with your phone so that you don't have to carry them all with you.
