My favorite doctor retired from another location and I decided to switch to this location for my new primary care provider, due to ease of access. It's right next to the movie theatre, across from the Five Guys. Mmm, fries. So, all the parking you'd ever need, regular bus stops, and several Pokémon Go gyms to sit and relax next to! Great location, especially in the sunshine with the fountain going. This clinic was a major upgrade from my last one. Significantly larger and newer, they are not only way more wheelchair-friendly, the bathrooms are easily accessed and very clean! They practice masking, social distancing, offer hand sanitizer, and overall it feels like they actually care about my health. I've never seen any staff wearing a mask incorrectly and everyone is very courteous. They used to have someone lead to your room but now the receptionists will give you a map to your room, along with clear easy to understand verbal directions. My favorite parts? They teach student doctors here! It's adorable! They're all so bright and shiny and know All The New Stuff and I love their enthusiasm and attempts at good bedside manner. They also have their own lab on site! So, when you get that blood draw (or five) for your yearly physical, you're going to get the results very quickly. I've had one test post in My Chart three hours after I left! Wow!! I've yet to meet a bad egg here, although sadly, I'm sure they exist. I have had a few doctors delay entering their notes for days, which was weird. My PCP is awesome about notes and messages, which I appreciate! Good experiences with everyone, but I gotta give a special shout out to the hard working yet incredibly efficient nurses! They're kind and funny and personable and help you feel comfortable. Thank you UW Medicine Primary Care at Thornton Place! I'm so happy you exist! Note to the waiting: the clinic has free wifi, I recommend it, because your cellular signal will be terrible to nonexistent in many parts of the building.

I had an Appointment on the 7th of June, 2022 and I need forms for FMLA and PFML and the doctor said he'd have them in the next couple days. I wait until the 11th and then email the office. They said the forms were attached to a refill order, and just need my doctors signature...really?!? How does that happen..i have never heard of this...which leads me towards they effed up and loaded me with BS. This must be where ex-used car salesman or ex-stockbrokers find work. Ridiculous. Stay away if you think this isn't normal.

The doctors and staff are great. It's impossible to call the clinic directly. I was referred to a specialist and never got a follow up call to determine next steps. If you need anything more than a routine wellness check avoid the UW system.

Dr. Daniel Cornish has been my primary doctor for the last year and I am very happy with the care I have received. I have went through several other clinics in the past and I have had doctors act like I am faking it or just suffering from anxiety, but he has never done that and always orders the appropriate tests to address the issue at hand. I have went to him for women's issues (cysts and amenorrhea) and I have always felt totally comfortable and confident with his care. I noticed in another review someone kept referring to him as a "fake doctor"... and I just wanted to comment that every doctor goes through a residency, so that's a little ignorant! My experience has been nothing but positive and I would definitely recommend him to others.
