I’m surprised about the negative reviews for this clinic. I’ve been seeing Dr. Esther Henkle since October 2019. I’m always greeted warmly by the front desk staff, clinic support staff, nurses, and MAs. All staff readily answer my questions or defer to the doctor / appropriate resource. I highly recommend Dr. Henkle and this clinic. Every experience is thorough, clean, and prompt. Dr. Henkle provides excellent care and has such warm bedside manner. It can be so difficult to find a doctor that makes you feel comfortable and Dr. Henkle definitely hits all the marks. I like to have as much information about what I’m being seen for and she provides that and more. Providing information for questions I would not have thought of. There are never any surprises that she hasn’t prepared me for. I live in Shoreline and happily will drive in to this clinic for all future care.

Friendly staff and wonderful provider. For that I'd give 5 stars. However, their billing practice is aggressive - I would suggest caution if your insurance isn't great.

My partner was seen for a septic liver on a Wednesday and sent home with the strict instruction to get treatment immediately through the referral they placed. Two telehealth appointments and one urgent care visit, they kept saying they wouldn't treat him without an emergency room visit (which we had gotten) despite the fact he took a turn for the worse. The doctor on the last telehealth appointment (an entire week later) told my partner she didn't like his attitude (crying, I guess) and said for that reason she would not help him. I called Virginia Mason for an appointment yesterday and am writing this review as they discuss treatment with my partner less than 24 hours later. I have been a UW Medicine fan, but witnessing them during an actual emergency and not a checkup was discouraging to say the least. 5 stars for UW if you have no problem, 0 stars if you're turning yellow and are peeing black.

Unfortunately I am writing this review despite the great care I have received from UW Medicine in multiple specialties since I started as a freshman at UW until today. As the entry reads, the SLU clinic is neighborhood clinic, but turns out for billing purposes, it is not. It is actually part of the hospital system and I came to know after having a routine blood draw here instead of the true neighborhood clinic over at Belltown. This technicality has costed me $250+ and multiple hours on the phone with my insurance and multiple lines with UW medicine. I do want to give a shoutout to the wonderful people over at billing for Belltown, SLU, Laboratory and Hospital billing services who patiently helped me understand why this is happening. To the administration, if this is not a neighborhood clinic, please do not market it as such. Patients like me end up with hundreds of dollars in surprise bills for this small yet heavy technicality. To patients, do yourself a favor and before getting care, make sure where you’re going is an actual neighborhood clinic or risk surprise “facilities fees”.

I'm not sure I don't work there...just visited. Not sure if you're asking me or if maps just made it look that way...sorry just Incase.
Yes there's a garage right below buildings E and F. Entrance off of Republican St.
