The Kurt Gobang Show!
Bad service.

I attended training tonight. It was my first time. I really enjoyed it. The training was excellent. The entire process was organized and great. The owner taught our class and he was very patient with the beginners and experts. The trainers in the fire range were present to help and friendly. I shot well and I feel comfortable with my new gun. I will be back. Thank you! Anita M

Very polite and knowledgeable staff Mark was very helpful...decent range

I mainly use the range here, and it strikes a happy medium. It's better than the range in my hometown, and less expensive than some of the higher end ranges. The selection of for rent firearms was good when I started, and they recently got more.

I recommend going to Bob's & scheduling some range time with one of their instuctors first just to get a feel for what kind of sidearm you want to get. Everyone there is courteous & extremely knowledgeable.
You should have no problem as long the rounds are for a pistol

Out of state residents may buy a rifle or shotgun freely, you are not allowed to buy a handgun if out of state UNLESS military with orders
Range hours are the same as the store's. 10am - 8pm Mon - Sat 12pm - 5pm Sun We take the last shooter on 1 hour before we close (ie, 7pm or 4pm)
To a degree. Bob's has a wide selection of range weapons in different makes, models and calibers to try. After getting a feel for what you prefer, you can make a purchase downstairs at the showroom.
We have carried Bersa firearms, but we do not have any in stock right now. Please keep checking back with us as our inventory is constantly changing.
No not in Virginia just have to be a resident of the state
$99.99. You can sign up at www.bobsgunshop.com
It is open. No rifle calibers, just handgun range. $15/hour
Quite a few different ones. Probably best to come in and talk to us. We’ve got a lot of choices.
For home defense I personally load 2 #6 field loads followed by 00 buck. In normal home defense distances #6 is plenty lethal or at worst very persuasive. If it doesn't make the point the 00 buck follow up certainly will.
I'm sure they would have it,I don't actually work there so you may want to call them.
We have closed our range to completely renovate it. We hope to have it open mid-October.
Call and ask them at the shop
Yes! Just Google Tazers
That question is best reserved for a lawyer. Try everything in your power to never have to use a gun in self defense..... it gets messy when you do.
No not yet
!st guest is free with membership, 2nd and/or 3rd guest would be $10 each.
Purchase it from PSA and have it shipped to Bob's FFL.
To purchase most firearms ( some shot guns and bolt action rifles have different criteria for purchase) you need to be 21 yrs. old with a valid Va. License or ID with your CURRENT address on it and it has be issued at least 30 days prior to purchase. Some shotguns and bolt action rifles you can be 18 yrs. old with out of state ID. If you have a Va. ID with an old address you can show us you updated address on the DMVNOW.COM website.
There is no straight forward answer... The closest I can give you is this: If your agency is not issuing you one or specifying what you should get... Ask/find out what ammunition will be issued to you. I presume they will specify a caliber. Rent 2-3 firearms (or more if you have choices and time) and run at least 100 rounds of the specified ammo through each. The firearm I would recommend is the one that: 1) runs the spec ammo the best, 2) is the one that you will practice with, and 3) the one that will carry the best in a holster. This advice has nothing to do with Bob's Gun with the exception that they do have a good selection of rental handgun in the major calibers (but they may not have the ammo that your agency issues, and they require you to buy their ammo if you rent)
They give it to you there. Go on their website. Everything you need is on there
Yes, come rite over and put your fingers in em'!
Who made the gun and what is the model?
You can shoot 22LR caliber rifles and pistols at the range so a 15-22 is not an issue. If you are looking to rent one from them, contact them to see if they have one for rental.
Yes they can..!
Call and ask for the gunsmith, but don't believe so!
I believe they do , highly recommended calling them to double check.
Good luck with that one, if at all possible let me know the steps to take.
You'll get the permit then you have To go to city hall and put in your application it's around 50 bucks .
It's a great store, no one will "ridicule" you. As D'Yon said, they may not have it in stock, but they may be able to order it for you.
I frequent Bob's. To appraise a firearm they will want to See it in person. They won't do it over the phone. However, employees have regularly said you'll never get even half its new value selling it. They recommend, as do many, that you put it in consignment where you choose the price and they take a fixed percentage for selling it. If you need to sell it ASAP but want to be safe and do it the right way, find someone online, bring them to Bob's, and Bob's will do a background check on them for $30 or $40. This will get you the most money.
Not a pawn shop but they do, do consignment or they will buy directly from you.
Range times from the site: Mon - Sat: 10am - 9pm Sun: 12pm - 5pm
