I was a client at the Salvation Army until Halloween evening four o'clock PM my name is Steven Lee Stewart I was a victim of sexul assault and identity theft I have nowhere to go I'm grateful you took me in. In the process getting everything straightened out with my bank account within days of receiving the van within days of receiving the funds they tied the Salvation Army for my stay I was terminated from the program I didn't even get to retrieve my belongings 😰 I did the best I could i hope this never happens to anyone . But my check for the stolen funds was due to arrive in about 5 days at the Salvation Army someone is obviously not doing there job informing others about My status. In my opinion it is an industry for show only with a cookie cutter pattern for everyone this means the person's individual needs are not being met by the case manager and it needs a serious overhaul . I did the best I could do of getting identity theft and my phone straightened out any amount of time but I had and I have done so I think this kind of relevance is inexcusable

Got dismissed from the program for violating rules I was not made aware of at intake. Was given 2 days to move came back the next day to find all my stuff packed up and alot broken and wet for some reason. For a place that is supposed to help , yall call that helping ??????

Hope house helps with cars as long as you take their financial class that they offer. Salvation army does not help with cars abd if you stay at the salvation army for a month they will give you a letter of homelessness to take to section 8 to be put on the top of the list..
Not sure they can help you with that. But you can 211 on your cell phone. They're supposed to have an up to date resource page of numbers or places for help in BG. Try The towers
