Wonderful service and the sermon was one of the best bible based messages I have ever listened to. Very engaging speaker and I appreciate Pastor Foley's enthusiasm for God's word. I would like to make a suggestion regarding the audio output. The lapel microphone often muffles Pastor Foley's voice (especially when he is moving around and/or talking louder). We had a similar experience. The solution was an earset microphone where the microphone is in front of the mouth. This eliminated the muffled effect and the audio was much clearer. I hope you will consider purchasing one. Thank you again.

August 24th is kids day in the park at Waller park, but no VBS this summer.
I personally think so, yes. Our current membership age averages about 60, though I myself am in my late 30s (single, no kids) and we have a couple of parents of young children. We're a very welcoming church in my opinion. We are a strong faith based church that equally teaches the law and the gospel. Our bible translation of choice currently is the 1984 edition of the NIV, though we're are transitioning to primarily using the new EHV (Evangelical Heritage Version) next month when it is released. For questions of faith, belief or why we as a congregation do what we do, please stop by for a visit or call or pastor. We recently started streaming our services and have them archived on or website www.starlutheran.org > church service > church service videos. Our services are from 10am-11am. Most Sundays we have bible class from 9am-9:50am though this Sunday (6/23/19) or pastor is on vacation, though or former pastor of 20+ years is filling in for the service.
