You can not consume alcohol at the beach but the campgrounds are open to alcohol beverage's

I would suggest the beach for swimming. Only because it's a common fishing lake and kids tend to get hooks in their little feet everywhere else. There is a 2 dollar fee per person, but I feel like that's pretty reasonable. They give you a ticket and you can come and go all day, bring outside drinks/snacks, or use the onsite concession. Love taking my kids. ❤

I'm always in a boat so I don't know what spots for bank fishing but... As far as bait we catch shad with the net & that's what we use for bait....that's my favorite place to fish, love it thete... good luck !

Like Matt said make sure the site isnt reserved and then just pay the site host the next day. Be careful showing up without a reservation 2 weekends prior to or 2 weekends after a holiday weekend because space is always limited for several weeks around holidays.

There are some private campgrounds that rent trailers. They are not right on the lake though.

Yes there are many. Most of the sites are electric only but water is generally close by. Some sites are full hookup.

You can dock your boat ,about anywhere by your camp site,may have to walk a little,make sure your tied down good, some coves have small docks if you camp in the right spot,,
