A bit cold to hold a gathering in the covered space in October, however we were able to use the fireplace which helped. There are plugs for the cooking equipment so the event for about 30 of us was all good. After the rain, beautiful lake and surrounding woods.

Great park to enjoy on a hot sunny day. Lots of natural shade provided by the tall trees, lots of space for picnics or just playing on the grass. The beach is a bit small, I can easily see it crowded on a weekend. Lots of people kayaking and paddle boarding. Rather big parking lot. Stroller-friendly trail that leads to the fields on the other side of the park is great for walks with little ones, rain or shine.
