The location is great. The people are super friendly. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it through the worship portion of the service. It's very charismatic, which I like, but unfortunately it felt more like a very repetitive show than true worship. The band leader seemed to try to draw too much attention to himself and would go back and forth on stage holding the mic out to the audience like singers do at rock concerts. He had a distracting "I'm filled with the spirit" laugh during a more serious, contemplative song another guy was trying to sing. The music choice was fine, but far too repetitive (indicative of too many church services these days). Taking one verse from the song and repeating it 20 times makes it feel more like you're chanting rather than worshiping. Most people stop singing after a couple repetitions. Why almost all worship bands these days want to drag a 2 minute song out to 7 or 8 minutes is beyond me. If you don't have time to practice for a few more shorter songs, I get it. That's totally understandable. But just keep several of the older hymns in your repertoire and pull them out, weekly if you want. Everyone loves them. Unfortunately, the week we attended the band took the repetition concept to whole new levels. I'm sure that's fine for some people, and I don't want to badmouth this church. The message may have been fine, and probably was, but after a good 30 minutes we got so tired of the monotonous all-about-the-band worship that we left.

It is readily available online in the service archives on GCN's website. We just watched it. God bless!
Yes Grace Nashville is having service Sunday morning. Just asking if you are sick to please watch the service online, if you attend please don't shake hands to help stop the spread of all illnesses.
I believe Sign-ups our on the Realm app? I think you need to talk with someone to set that up.
I dont think there is a registration I think you can both just come on in! π
They're good people the pastor is Lindell Cooley is awesome and they have live Sunday service online but to get in touch is another topic I do recommend highly I've heard pastor Lindell preach and his worship team in which he was the worship leader for the Brownsville revival for many years.
For anyone interested in the prayer meeting. I found out that it is Tuesday nights at 6:30 pm in Auditorium 2.
Grace uses an online communication application called the "Realm" I know we have at least 100 active people on that specifically. For more information on this, please stop in and come see a member of the prayer team I know for a fact they would love see and pray with you!
Gracechurchnashville.com is the best way.
Not sure. Have you called the church to ask?
There is a room for 3-and-unders, a room for 4-5, and then, after the music and before the sermon, 6-12 are released from the main service to a third room for age-appropriate teaching. There is plenty of space, oversight, and high quality teaching for every age! Actual paid staff at the church is just a couple of people, many ministry areas that might be separate paid staff positions other places are run by experienced volunteers. As a former KidMin leader, I've been very happy with the care my own child has received.
