Keeping us up to date on all things Sumner County. Beautiful southern home. They were kind enough to let us take our team pictures out front. Thank you so much!

Questions & Answers

What was that old, stone building that is just a bit past Sumner County Tourism?

Andrew Bailey | Nov 1, 2020
Sumner County Tourism | Nov 1, 2020

Hi Andrew, We refer to it as the Comer Barn. Guy Comer, a Nashville businessman, moved into the Comer House, which now houses the offices of Sumner County Tourism. Mr. Comer was a horse enthusiast, so he built the Comer Barn in 1938. I hope this answers your question. Thank you.

Hello, Do you have weddings on your property?

Hi Kim, Thanks for your question. It's one we get quite often. Unfortunately, we do not have weddings on the Comer House property. The house serves as the tourism office for the county and we really do not have enough staff to get into doing weddings here. Please go to visitsumnertn.com/event-venues/ for a complete list of wedding venues in Sumner County. Thank you!
