Perfect place to spend couple of hours with kids! Small area with close view of variety of animals. Beautiful view from where it is located! Well maintained, knowledgeable and friendly staff and reasonable entry fee. Lots of parking.

Absolutely worth a visit. These folks have packed some great enclosures into a relatively small space, with fantastic views of the mountains on a clear day. Extremely kind and knowledgeable zookeepers and volunteers (who absolutely took time out of their days to answer questions and geek out with me about apex predator behavior), and really great enrichment activities for the animals. Plus, got this awesome photo of one of the wolves being a goofball. Highly recommend checking them out--if you go for a hike at Cougar Mountain, this is a great stop to unwind! I had no idea the place existed and essentially stumbled upon it, and I'm really glad I did.

A more intimate sized zoo, that sports very knowledgeable and friendly staff, keepers and volunteers. The animals are gorgeous and well cared for. We love coming here. If they added a barista and or cafe, I'd be here even more often just to have a hot drink on a cold 🥶 day and enjoy the exhibits.

Came here for the Reindeer Festival and was very pleasantly surprised. Feeding the reindeer was such a fun experience. The staff were all extremely nice and informative. All the animals in the zoo looked happy and well taken care of. I am happy to support this zoo and I look forward to coming back.

They have cougar urine concentrate to use to scare animals away from your garden
Yes, and it is the preferred method right now.
Yes they offer it..I believe it is quick
They are supposed to be there all year from what i was told last time I visited
Also, sometimes the bird show becomes a walk around with the birds. You can get super close up while a trainer/keeper holds the birds. It was really neat.
No. That is why they require humans to be masked. Turns out wolves and tigers can catch covid as well. Mask up when requested and be courteous to zoo requests.
Not rescues. Most were born in captivity. Very good living conditions. This is a small zoo with lots of support.
Yes! They open at 930 but some areas aren't available until 10 (true most days)
$11.50 for 2-12. $14.50 for 13+. Kids under 2 free. All day come and go for that day. They dont have food but can bring your own or leave for lunch and then come back.
Yes, you can bring food. As everyone else said, you cannot feed the animals except for the apples or pellets you buy at the zoo. And no there are not a lot of food options inside. Its mainly drinks and snacks.
