This is a really great park for everything fun in the sun on the water. There is a very very busy boat launch but the line moves fast and things are pretty organized over there. They also have a large area for hanging out and parking in a smaller beach area where everybody crams in to enjoy the beautiful waters of Lake Sammamish.

Had a wonderful moment..such a relaxing place to come over, as it's huge good for a long walk and picnic. Well, kayaking was fun! Small beach kids will enjoy it and plenty of parking areas and restrooms.

Its a wonderful place to experience the sunrise and sunsets. We were there today for sunset. Dont forget to take the Discover pass along and leave in your car. Only thing which made me give 4 stars were the mosquitoes which were too many all over.We finally had to take shelter in the car to keep them away and watched the sunset from inside the car.

Such a great park! Sandy beach, bathrooms close by, great swimming area, really fun playground close by too. My kids love it here. Totally worth the drive for us.

Can I use the annual permit for the State Parks?
Yes you can, I even bought the discovery pass from this park, for 30$.
Yes there are grills, and unless there is a specific type of burn ban in place you can barbecue there.
There is a dock at the boat launch Right of beach. Swimming area in middle of beach. Either side of that to fish. On right side thou there is a land that sticks out. Follow the trail
I think you could set up a tent, like people do shade drapes or umbrellas. There's a beach area and a big grassy area. For fire, I'd use one of the existing bbq stands.
I don't fish but i did see people fishing there.. so yes
Yes I went there two weeks ago and saw people playing volleyball there.
Yes by the restroom area
This is a state park, so if you have a parks pass you can get in for free, bit otherwise you have to pay to park. I hope this answers your question.
There is no designated areas for that, but i believe u can do in on sand.
No. Discover pass is all you need. It is better to go through boat launch entrance on east side. Parking lot on main entrance side is kind of far from water.
Generally it is a good thing to make reservations, but there are a lot of places to hold a small birthday party if you forget to make one.
Not a campground, only a day use park. Closed at dusk.
The playground is open.
You can only buy a Discovery Pass at the park.
none but you have to have a discovery pass to park in the parking lot
There are grills. You can also bring your own. There is a fire ban so it's "propane only" right now.
There is no difference about the park it's a park........ and the Sammamish lake that I'm talking about they should clean out the freaking seaweed so people and children can swim
Yes!
I don't know. I don't see why no, boats were out there.
Northwest Forest Pass is for Federal Land and this is a STATE park. You will need a Discover Park which is $30 annually or $10/day which you can pay in the parking lot at a self pay station
Huh?
It's a state park so you need a Discover Pass or to pay to park for the day.
There is no soccer field but plenty of grass. Please go " Lake Sammamish State Park East Soccer Field" which is couple of meters away from it. It is big ground with goal posts.
I do not know. We have not gone campilg there. Check the state parks website.
One I know is the one with bicycles but I'm not sure if it's in July it honestly do not participate in many of those event
