Took computer for reconfiguration. Was told needed new drive. Gave approval. Four months later was told computer still needed new drive. After taking computer back found it was never touched. I was lied to. The place looks like a hoarders dream. No room to walk much less do business. I do not recommend this business to anyone needing computer service.

My hp laptop while doing an update restarted and I got a bit locker screen requestng some input code? Unable to do anything other than shut down. Help!
I visited several years ago. They would not give me an estimate, and back then, they used seriously slow wifi, at the shop. Not sure if they still do, but they charged by the time. They said it was my computer's fault, that it was old, slow, even blamed it on the lack of memory. But, it was not. I was told it would be an outrageous amount of time and money, just to transfer files. I paid him a diag. fee, and left. Office Depot transferred all the files in about ten minutes for me. For me, I did not like this place, others may do better. I, personally, could not go back to Hal's. It was many years ago, so I cannot speak for the current system.
