The Candlewood Suites Independence MO is in a nice quiet location away from the street. Hotel appears to be relatively recent construction and was in really good shape. Parking lot was fine and the whole place had a safe atmosphere. My room was immaculately clean from one side to the other. The layout was great and all appliances were in great condition. TV was larger than most hotels offer. The bed, pillows, and linens were as comfortable as you can get. Bathroom was also great very clean. Phenomenal shower head. Staff was exceptional, most accommodating and professional. My only gigs: There is an exhaust fan that runs 24/7 in the bathroom that has no switch. And mine happened to have a slight whine that was very annoying and audible when the AC was not running. Also, by the lobby in the commons area where there was coffee and foods for sale, it was in need of counter wipe downs and trash removal both times I visited. I would not hesitate for a return visit. Great experience.

My room was clean and spacious. The lay out allows you to not feel compact. Plenty of counter and drawers space and good size closet. Full size fridge and full size microwave , dishes, and a two eye stove and dishwasher. This is the perfect place for a short or extended stay. I highly recommend this location. The staff was nice and helpful. Someone just about always greeted me. Good security measures. Nice indoor pool and hot tub. Convenient workout room. Games and movies and other appliances can be checked out if needed from the front desk. I just wanted to take my room with me. I will definitely be staying here when I return Lord Willing. Thank you all kindly for a wonderful stay!

Positive: Candlewoods suite is now on my Favorites list. Their staff went above and beyond to help make out stay great. When we arrived, all the carts, to help move luggage in, was being used so a staff member went to our car and helped us. Negative: They don't serve breakfast, but told us the best place available to go to. Also we had a full kitchen! In our room, with all the essential supplies, available to use to make whatever we wanted. Even a dishwasher!!! This hotel was AMAZING.

First time staying at a Candlewood Suites, and the experience was really good. Hotel was very clean everywhere (lobby, room, pool). I was surprised that the hotel offered free laundry machines so if you needed to clean an outfit, uniform (for sports), etc you could do it. I also have an electric car (not driven during this trip), and was amazed that there were 4 EV charging spots onsite. Overall I would recommend this hotel to others.
