I had my reservations about staying here because of the bad reviews. That being said, I decided to stay here because my S.O. Was having major surgery at UCD Med. I have to say, and I have stayed in many hotels) this was one of the cleanest, best run hotels in my travel. The staff was empathetic and I mean ALL the staff, to my needs, my fatigue, my stress, etc...I felt like the people they served almost all had relatives who were in the hospital, and they were sensitive to their needs. I will always remember their courteous, smiles, and the help they gave me either with accomodations, like extra pillows, or just conversation.

Uncomfortable beds and lots of light pollution, I ordered food through the N room app only to get to the front desk and have them tell “me oh yeah that doesn’t work you have to call down or we won’t fill your order” this is after waiting 30 minutes for my food the front desk was not helpful and I thought it was a poor explanation to just shrug and say well the “room app doesn’t function sorry” Which I called BS on because the order was up on her screen she had just failed to check it. if your room app does not work remove the collateral from your rooms that tells customers to use it!

1. Out of a 3 day stay, there was no room cleaning. 2. There was no soap or other complimentary items usually found in most hotels. 3. The hotel Starbucks employee made my drink incorrectly, but blamed me. She said I never told her that I wanted my drink hot, she was correct because I asked for extra hot yet I got a cold drink.

I'm a regular business traveler, and due to last minute changes I missed the window to cancel my visit. I spent a week trying to speak with someone to explain the situation, and no one has reached out yet. I hate to leave a negative review, but this shouldn't be part of best practices for guests.
