Quinci Emporium is truly a local gem in Columbus. I love the quality imported products. I love that Quinci has cooking classes. Owner Deborah is very welcoming. Quinci is truly a slice of Italy placed right here in Columbus. Cant wait to check out the new location on Buttles ave this spring. 😊

This is a real gem of a shop in Short North. Wonderful customer service, excellent selection of wine, delicious assortment of baked goods and other small plates, expertly poured espresso drinks - an all around amazing experience. We'll be back for certain.

I had such a blast at the Toledo museum of Art, where admission is always free. Here are some of my favorite pieces. The staff are really super friendly, kind and even flattering. Here are some of my favorite themes, humorous love, sailing and instruments. I paid homage first and always to the Baroque 'Venus and Cupid' painted circa 1650, located in the Grand gallery. Then the next is 'Fear' (of getting caught) 1850ish. Then Cleopatra after she is snuck in to see Julius Caeser hidden in a rug. Also, I discovered that there Toledo Symphony plays in an amazing hall called the Peristyle, It's attached to the museum. The acoustics are amazing from the looks of it through the windows. It's worth Driving back to Toledo find out. I loved the room called the Intersection. All the designs on the walls and floor are shadows from a single bulb.

Questions & Answers

What are the cooking classes like? Does everyone get to make their own food or does everyone just help out one of the chefs?

HI Kyle - thanks for reaching out. Our hands-on classes are kept small (6-8 people). You will slice, dice, chop, make pasta (if that is on the menu), cook, and eat. In some cases, because of the prep time needed, the chef will have some things prepared ahead of time. Check out our new Spring class schedule on our web site on the Events/Classes page. Hope to see you soon.
