Small, quaint and full of culture, this little Japanese shop is a hidden gem. The staff are friendly and it's easy to find what you need. Excellent selection of various authentic Asian foods, snacks, condiments and novelty items. Try the homemade Matcha while you're there.

Absolutely lovely shop to visit. Today was my first visit there ever and I had so much fun. I adore Japanese culture and this shop is the closest to Japanese goods as I will get for now. The shop owner's daughter and son were very nice. The owner herself was very sweet as well. Reasonably priced goods. I just got a whole bunch of sweets especially those popularized by anime such as melon pan. I bought too many sweets and a ramune, but it was worth it! Who knows when I'll get the chance to visit anytime soon as I don't live close enough to this store. I had a lot of fun and got too caught up to take pictures. I hope to visit again soon!

Cute, small shop with a nice (and unique) selection of snacks and frozen items, and great prices! The lady working was so sweet and the hand made Matcha Madeline I tried was seriously to die for. Will be coming back again!

This is such a cute little Japanese market. I haven't been to one in the Tampa area so it was much needed to check it out. It is definitely smaller than your average oriental market but it definitely is stocked with many goodies. They have Japanese snacks that aren't available at the bigger oriental markets. There are good dinnerware selection as well. Their snacks and drinks are great as well as the staff/owner. She was very sweet and talked to us. I would encourage others to come here if they're looking for unique snacks!

I haven’t seen anything Sakura flavored there. I’ve been shopping there for the last 3 months, maybe once cherry blossom season rolls around next year she may? I’ll ask her when I go today.
Yes... Kim actually makes kimchi in house, and it is excellent
They do have a small variety of frozen wonton and dumpling wrappers, yes! Also a nice selection of frozen gyoza (Ajinomoto brand from Japan... delicious!)
Yes. They have several types.
Yes! I just bought the Nabe soup base during my last visit.
Yes
I've never seen alcohol sold there. Total wine has plum wine though.
Not that I've seen. They carry a variety of frozen seafood, but no sashimi grade fish.
Afraid not. You can always ask the owner, sometimes they can get items for you.
Yes, they have sushi rice and others and tonkatsu souce too.
They have some sometimes
Unsure
They are covid aware and have a very clean, mask worn environment, with great customer service!!! I enjoy going there
Not that I am aware of unless the owner has it somewhere behind the counter.
no we dont only for me
Even if they don't, you should still stop by and check it out. It's been my favorite local oriental store for the past 10 years
You have to call the store.
Why not contact the store?
They have a lege variety of various types of Japanese noodles (both dry and frozen) I love the Udon noodles I get there!
I have seen packaged boba Pearls sold so that you can make it yourself at home. This place is a cute, small, mom & pop grocery store that specializes in food products from Japan. The owner is Korean but lived in Japan for a while. She's pretty knowledgeable about her products. If you are looking for a cafe that sells boba drinks near this store, try Thinh An Kitchen & Tofu on Waters Ave. It's AMAZING! https://www.thinhankitchentofu.com/
No, they do not.
