Grounds are a muddy mess from the downpour the last 24 hours. Admittance was free today. Animal sales were completed in both arenas and other projects were released to be picked up. Livestock trailers were having major issues with the soaked ground.

It was a muddy mess. Stock trailers were getting stuck and people couldn't go many areas without mud because of the downpour the previous night. It was free to get in today but projects were taken home early to get ahead of the muddy situation all over the grounds. More rain would have made it impassable in some places. It was a good fair with good entertainment.

Hi Judy, That's great! You can pick up a fair packet and entry form from the Sr Fair office Thursdays 9-4 or print them directly from our website - morrowcountyfair.org. The entry forms are due August 1st.

Gate admission is $6.00 per person over the age of 6. The Pit area admission is an additional $10. per person regardless of their age. Hope you enjoy the fair.

If you mean as a senior one then you get the entire forms from the fair office and you have to be judged before August 1.

Most of the apiculturists you'll meet at the fair or buy honey from will know who and how to get you to a class ! Where to buy equipment, hives, and a few queens. Good Luck to you ! I'm sure you will find it honorable and satisfying ! You may try the "headwaters" on county "home" road just north of the sheriff's office, and the Edison Depot Saturday mornings. Ask perfect strangers or the Ham Radio guys there after 0830. You will have good luck !
