I been going there since I was a little girl. It's a place where the whole community can enjoy themselves old and young . Right now they are distributing supplies to the people who lost their homes in the tornadoes and the rest of the community which.greatly appreciate . So big thank you to all people who volunteering .

This place has been set up as an emergency food and supply place for the great people of and near Mayfield who were impacted by the December tornados. But now it's time and supplies are running out. They are great and hate to see the people in it not being there. Ty for all u have done. God bless you all!!!

I would contact the red cross but the superintendents of Mayfield ask to put a hold on donating, I can't understand why but I'm not a official or sit on the board that makes that kind of decision so I wouldn't know what the reasons are but I know there's a lot of people out there that would like to have the dog food toothpaste and whatnot so I would definitely take it to the fairgrounds they would definitely get it to the people
For now, the Fairgrounds are closed on Sunday and Wednesday. Open Mon, Tues, Fri. from 10-4 and Thurs. 11-7, and Saturday 9-12.
The August 21st pull was canceled due to too much rain. We will post on FB when it is rescheduled. The pull is an annual event to benefit the Christmas Connect at local school's family resource centers.
We are recruting sponsors to cover the entrance fee for the Fair. Inside you pay as you go for Pageants, MMA Fights, Enduro Races, Carnival Rides, and other attractions while exhibits free and some business and charity booths are free for patrons.
There are stalls to rent and the owners take care of their own horses in those stalls.
