Cappy's is very easy-going. The people there are very welcoming and friendly. The staff get to know you quickly. After the first class they knew my name and would remember details of how I boxed. It's cool to be seen and supported, especially when getting engaged in boxing, which can get really competitive. I brought my nephew in when he was in town and he had a blast!

I started here during the "Pay-What-You-Can" program in the middle of the pandemic. I cannot emphasize enough the freedom this allowed me to both join and learn. The space to participate virtually and (when possible) in-person felt safe, easy and empowering. Most coaches knew and remembered my name before I did theirs. I had always wanted to learn how to box and Cappy's provided me with well above average resources to do so. I hope I can pay more soon to support this community-focused organization. Thank you.

I started training at Cappy’s because I was curious about boxing and interested in cross training for my primary competitive activity. I quickly found that it challenged me and provided benefits that I had not expected. Boxing teaches functional movement patterns and muscle organization skills that has improved my foundation for all of my other activities. Plus, it’s just a whole lot of fun. Cappy’s is a great gym, with thoughtful coaches and and a welcoming community in which to challenge yourself, learn new skills, and get a solid workout.

Cappy’s is perfect for boxers of all skill levels. I go in the mornings, and I leave the fitness classes sweaty and feeling great. Boxing has been really good for my confidence and going to Cappy’s in the morning makes the rest of my day feel like a piece of cake. Highly recommend.

As of late June 2021 we aren't currently offering open gym times but hope to add that back to the schedule in the coming months. Open gym will only offered to current gym members, though. Please check our social media and website for more up-to-date information.

Is it possible to find sparring partners?

Office Manager | Aug 11, 2022

We are currently not offering sparring as we are following WA state guidelines that require all boxers to remain 6 feet away from each other while working out in the gym. Once the pandemic spread slows and restrictions are lifted we will be excited to offer sparring again in the gym. Stay posted... and stay safe!
