Great urban hike. Feels like you are far away in a deep cool woods hiking along a beautiful creek.

Beautiful trail, right next to downtown ❤️

Excellent nature walk, following a small creek, with a pathway kept clear and maintained even enough that I've seen people with strollers on it for the first 1/4 mile or so. After that it begins to turn into gradually steeper inclines, providing a good variety of intensity the further you go. I usually am here for 30-60 minutes. In the evening you can sometimes see owls.

I've hiked there a few times and didn't see anything. But there are posters at the some trail heads that say you should watch for wild life, i think cougars and bears if memory serves me.
There is an economic lodge very close to there. Also a Hampton inn and a quality Inn. If you venture a little further into Bellevue there is The W Hotel or Larkspur Landing
There's a new parking lot along Coal Creek Pkwy between Forest Drive and 60th.
