This beach is for sunbathing for now & for walks. It use to have clear water a few years back. Now that everyone knows about it the water is dirty (due to feeding the ducks & leaving trash behind) & you cannot swim due to high level of toxicity. If you swim, do swim at your own risk.

Beautiful, secluded park that isn’t overcrowded and feels safer than the massive Coulon park. You have a something for everyone in the family to do. Whether is play sports on the big open field, relax in the covered shelter, play on the playground, visit the beach or dock, BBQ, or go explore on some of the short trails. It’s all within eyes view so you can keep an eye on each member of your family.

Great place for kids and families to enjoy weekend together

Beautiful park with good water access. Ideal to chill out. Almost ample parking. Enough room for everyone to sit at a safe distance.

The most likely reason is people cannot control their dogs. Dogs run free and bother whatever they like. People do not always pick up after their dogs.
I don't know about today specifically, but they were when we were there.
Some events booked it

No dogs are allowed in any part of the park during the warmer months (May to September I think)
No I don't believe so at this park. There is one in downtown Bellevue and also a big show in Seattle at gasworks Park
Yes, there is designated swimming on one side of the dock and fishing on the other side. Not sure of what you might catch.
