From the moment I walked in with an exchange to the moment I walked I felt like any staff member was happy to help me and answer any questions. They were welcoming and friendly. I couldn’t say enough nice things about their customer service. REI is the best.

Employees are incredibly helpful. Unfortunately, REI's smaller (not flagship) stores are severely lacking selection. Finding clothing in larger sizes in-store is next to impossible, leading to online orders with fingers crossed that the items will fit.

Check their website...they have an option to check store in stock locations. These question areas are mostly answered by other users/reviewers and not the companies themselves.
One year with a receipt OR a membership. You need proof of purchase if you aren't a member, but they can look up your purchase history if you're a member
They definitely have single burner stoves. However their stoves (mostly) use gas fuel (pressurized) not alcohol or liquid fuel.
I understand the need to promote membership.. i suppose i find it weird that a floor staff is asking.. usually it asked during checkout..
