The Greyhound bus driver will ask you what stop will you be getting off in New Orleans or are you getting off at the airport? There is no additional cost. Although New Orleans International airport is not a designated stop for Greyhound, Greyhound will drop off at the airport right in front of the check-in flight area. But greyhound does not pick-up at the airport. I have made sure to tell the bus driver I will be getting off at the airport without a problem. And the bus driver will announce whether anyone is getting off at the airport whil driving into New Orleans. Hope this help.

There is one that leaves New Orleans on 8/21 at 8:50am and arrives in Jackson 2:10pm. Also on 8/21 leaves New Orleans at 10:15am and arrives in Jackson at 5:55pm

Nope! You will need a State Official ID to board the Bus, and if the bus stops at a "checkpoint", you will need ID again! Best thing to do is, get a replacement of your ID first,before setting up your trip! Because most bus fares are No Longer Refundable! Last choice would be to go to a Non-Profit or Government agency, if your trip is an emergency, but then again, that might help you get on the bus, but not through checkpoints!

Why don't you go to Greyhound online and begin scheduling your trip? Once you enter the FROM and TO cities, you will get your rates.

As far as I know, not Fares, but during major storms, Greyhound limits areas the buses can go into. You may have to lay-over in a safe area, until service is resumed! And passengers that already have tickets, need to check in daily with Attendants to make sure they get a seat on the next available bus!
