As a truck driver i arrived one hour early and i was told by a person working there that for some doe he may be able to unload me or i can go to a truck stop and come back when the appointment is. While on the phone with the dispatch another person came and got me at the door and unloaded me. Like everywhere it all depends who you talk to. With patience you can back up a 53 footer no problem

MFN is doing a great service to the State of Mississippi . I hope they can continue to help those who are in need .

Poor response rate to intentional feeding agencies. Very selective in the communities this agency chooses to help.

Sandra, yes there is a "network " of churches with food banks in the Hinds, Rankin, Madison, area. Some to start with in Jackson are stewpot or First Baptist Church on State Street. Some in Rankin County are Pine Lake care center off of Lakeland Drive, and Crossgates Baptist Church on Woodgate Drive in Brandon. I really suggest that you call Mississippi Food Network and they can give you some phone numbers to call. There are several all over the Jackson metro area and surrounding counties like in Yazoo County, in Canton Mississippi, on the coast in Biloxi and Gulfport, and in the delta in Greenville Greenwood Indianola in those areas. I'm not sure where you live but your best bet is to call them.
There are various organizations across the state. Check Google or local churches and food pantries.
Just arrive.
No
Only to registered agencies.
The Mississippi Food Network does not distribute to individual households. They will provide you with information where you can find a food bank that can provide you with assistance.
The MFN does receive food from the federal government. Also Wal-mart. And some local grocery stores. Although donation are made, the federal government is the main contributor
