A good local museum that neither shies away from nor smacks you with the less than wonderful moments in history. Not so small to be overlooked; a leisurely mosey through reading the exhibits should take about 60-90 minutes. Several lifesize mockups to go through to experience it. They ought to include a section on geological history but perhaps in the future.

A wonderful museum to introduce Auburn area history. Currently there is a Christmas activity with libraries to select your favorite Christmas tree that is decorated by some libraries. My daughter loves the kid exploring places. I appreciate the introduction by volunteers.

White River Valley Museum is a place where can learn history of Auburn. Small but very informational. Have crafts for kids and a dress up place. The staff is great here, very helpful! We had a super fun time!
