I'm loving the experience here. I watched a live show about combustion with plenty of fireworks, saw an exhibit with beautiful glass sculptures that blew my mind, got to be in a habitat with butterflies flying around my head and watch an otherworldly laser show with Neo. I'm heading to the museum of pop culture now and the planetarium later on. 10/10 experience.

Awesome place to take your kids and toddler for a fun filled outing. Lot's and lots of games and educational (scientific) experiences for kids and teenagers, parents too can enjoy the fun. Butterfly museum is a good learning experience too.

Very cool stuff and a perfect place to spend the whole day in. Watch a laser show, learn about science, play with fun interactive and educational displays. Perfect place that will entertain the whole family. Lots of changes being made so a bit of empty space when I went. But I definitely want to bring the nieces and nephews here!

We went with 4 kids ranging from 5-8 and had a blast! Exhibits were entertaining, engaging and educational! The laser show was super fun and I highly recommend the combustion live science demo! Troy was our combustion presenter and he was super fun! We spent 5 hours there and only left because we got hungry for dinner!

The other answers list the price INCLUDING the Terracotta Warriors exhibit which closed on 9/4. Currently, under 3 are free, 3-5 are $13.95, 6-16 are $17.95, adults are $23.95, and seniors are $21.95! Tax is included in those prices: what you see is what you get! There are also AARP, Military, and AAA discounts available :)
Yes and yes. There are some things that are more kid focused, but plenty of things that I think you need to be 15-65+ to appreciate. Some examples: models with transparent casing of transmissions, slip differentials; a VR exhibit (maybe temporary); an electrical acoustic exhibit; and some brain-/neuroscience-focused exhibits. There are probably other exhibits I'm forgetting about. And there are also several appropriate for all ages.
Full price tickets to the Pacific Science Center are $16 for 16 to 64 years, $14 for over 64, $11 for 6-15 years and $9 for 3 to 5 years. 2 and under are free. For only the exhibit entrance.
About 2 hours to see everything. About 4-5 hours to really do everything.
Pacific Science Center parking garage on 2nd off Denny, and 1st Ave parking garage at 220 1st Ave N. These two garages serve the whole of Seattle Center though, so add some time to your commute to park there or paid parking on the street.
Yes it is real synthetic snow in snowzone

Yes! Absolutely! Sitting outside on the lawn by the Armory is a wonderful place to have your lunch. Or, if it's raining, you can take it inside the Armory.
My granddaughter is two and a half years old. She enjoyed it lot and a full day wasn't enough for her...
A family level membership covers 2 adults and up to 6 children and costs $139. Dual covers 2 people and costs $109. Individual covers one person and costs $89. Each level of membership includes reciprocity at other participating science centers; varying numbers of IMAX documentary passes, guest passes, and laser show tickets; and unlimited entry for 12 months.
Building 3 and 4 are still closed but 1 and 2 are open plus the theaters!
You can also buy there, if needed
I don't know. You should probably contact the Science Center.
Yes
$25.95 for adults
Yes you can, you have to have your hand stamped.
Website seems to say yes. Holiday hours are posted, but I went to buy tickets for Easter, and was given the opportunity.
Yes the two facilities are both with the ASTC. Consider the following though; CALL BEFORE YOU VISIT TO CONFIRM YOUR TRAVEL PASSPORT PROGRAM BENEFITS. Unless stated otherwise, benefits DO NOT include free or discounted admission to special exhibits, planetarium and larger-screen theater presentations, nor do they include museum store discounts and other benefits associated with membership.
I usually take my son on Sundays, when they close at 6.
No, according to their website, on December 24 they close at 3pm while on the 25th they are closed entirely.
They have laser shows almost every hour. Each hour has different topics. You could find out more details on their website. Enjoy~~
That would depend on condition, the age and if the set is rare now. It is probably a later release than the early science center goods since those flights were after the world's fair, try looking it up eBay and check completed listing for the same exact set to see what the market will actually pay.
Hi Judy, Yes, we do have wheelchairs available. Just talk to our admission staff at either entrance and we will get you all set up!
There'll be a few things she might like. Biggest imax screen in the PNW. Butterfly house. Virtual Reality. The Laser shows are awesome!
Yes you do. They stamp your hand and you can run in and out if you need to.
Yes there is a garage at the corner of 2nd Ave N and Denny Way. Entrance on 2nd Ave.
If you call the science center they will tell you
