I've drastically changed my rating from the previous 1-star rating to a 5-star rating. Services are now in person. I went in for a minor's name change. I arrived less than five minutes before closing (and apologized profusely for that). The woman who took care of me said it wasn't a problem and processed my request while also chatting with me. The name change was a little complicated due to documentation, and she was struggling with it. She called over her supervisor, who also struggled some. Together, though, they figured it out. They put forth the effort to complete my request instead of just brushing me off or telling me to come back the next day. They were both friendly and helpful. I'm happy this SSA has improved so much in such a short time.

This SSA office is like a model for all government offices. Secured, clean, people are helpful and fast service. Kudos to the people maintaining it that way! Thanks!

Honestly, I don't know why it's like that. I don't work for the Social Security Administration. I usually physically go there and get my business done personally.

Come in. Or go to your local post office & report they dont live there
You definitely can! They won't charge you for it, either.
You can't. You need their SS# for anything involving them.
I don't believe they do. I think it's in person visit or call only.
You can call the office or go in person and request a new one. It'll cost you but they'll mail you a new card in a few weeks.
