ABF Freight scheduled to deliver soccer goals to the school grounds. They gave me an hour warning via automated phone message. I was at the fields for over an hour and half waiting. Eventually I called dispatch who said the driver had already delivered the goals. I assured them that wasnt the case as I had been there the entire time. They put me on hold and then later told me that the driver didn't deliver but that the roads were unsafe. Weather was clear and 80F. Delivery was to a very large open parking lot. No accidents or construction on the roadways. I explained it simply isnt true. They said the delivery is rescheduled and they can not have the driver go back out and deliver. Obviously frustrating and the response just didnt make any sense on my end. Also if the driver had decided that was true when were they going to call me and let me know that? Hoping it gets delivered on the new date as promised...
