LA Fitness should be avoided for the dodgy, borderline-fraudulent billing practices. When you sign up you have to sign up for their web site, which when you cancel tells you to print out a form to mail it in, which I did for both myself and my spouse. I even received a confirmation email saying the cancellation had been processed and there'd be no more billing. Months later I'm still being billed. I sent an email and they told me to go cancel in person. I was told mine was cancelled but my spouse's was only recently cancelled, which makes no sense. Also the manager wasn't allowed by their system to do anything. Currently going back and forth with customer service by email trying to get it sorted out and get charges refunded. They purposely make it difficult and deniable to close your membership.

The manager daniel is a nightmare, he would of been better manager at McDonald's, they will lie to you. Dont sign anything !!! You will get overcharged and stuck on contracts that might cost up to over 1k-5k$ and you will get stuck paying it. The fitness center is dirty tooo, don't waste your time and just go to to the athletic club

This gym is convenient location wise for people living in West Seattle, but it's not a great LA Fitness. It's about 98° in there for some reason, (even in the Spring), stuffy, smelly, and dirty. They finally stopped sending personal trainers to interrupt your workout to trick you into buying sessions so that's cool, but for all the money they are getting, one would think they could turn on the damn AC! Some of us are busting a sweat and are about to find a new gym.

I went today for a health assessment. I expected a sales pitch, which is typical when you first join a gym. What I didn't expect was an actual worthwhile workout session. Andrew worked with me and while we had a consultation afterwards, I walked away knowing I had some "how-to" information for starting all over again in the gym on my own. Usually, trainers will take you through a series of exercises that you would NEVER be able to duplicate in a million years. Yet, Andrew took his time, showed me short versions of a total workout, one-exercise-at-a-time, and took care to make sure I had the correct form and understanding of the exercise. It was a wonderful experience! I also appreciate how the gym is clean and supplies are throughout to enable clients to self-clean machines! Great experience!

Yes they do.
I have silver sneakers and have been able to use it at multiple sites in Washington and Arizona.
They did finally reopen again on the 11th of January. Not worried about the virus, but thanks for sharing your opinion.
I would not say a lot but b yeah there is. Just be careful not to leave valuables at sight.
Yes they have a yoga room.
It's hot
Signature Club cost about 500 per person. For this you get a towel when you walk into a dirty facility. L.A. Fitness can't seem to keep their gyms clean or the equipment fixed and working properly, something is always out of service. Shower lights in mine have been out for weeks. They have a "be careful, its dark back there sign". Good job.
