This summer time. Sunset is late, like 8:48pm. The view is phenomenal. Higher than the Space Needle, cheaper too. They had a bar which was nice. They offered cocktails and mocktails along with light food such as flatbread pizza, salads, wraps. The drinks were overpriced but you should expect it. The pizza was good as was the wrap. We used a voucher. The only downside is that there is some major glare when taking photos during sunset. At night the lights from the inside affect the photos so you gotta get the right angle. It would be cool if they dimmed the lights a bit during the night. 5/5. Definitely recommend going. Staff was friendly and quick service. There is also souvenirs up top too.

Nice place to have a great 360° view of the city of Seattle. Mount Rainier is clearly visible on a sunny day! They opened the doors exactly @12:00pm and we had to wait outside on the sidewalk as we reached early. Paid parking is available right opposite to the observatory entrance of the Columbia tower.

This is probably my favorite spot in Seattle - being the tallest observation point in the Pacific Northwest, I absolutely love it. On a clear day you can see 3 volcanoes, 2 mountain ranges, the ocean, and a large lake. The view is better than the Space Needle's, though is mainly known by locals. 10/10 would recommend for family visiting, a date, or going out with friends/colleagues. The seasonal drinks are also great, and the staff is quite kind. Coming during sunset is the best - the landscape for dozens of miles is just painted in orange/red.

Stunning views of the Seattle metro area! Tickets were a little pricey but I was given a $5 voucher for the bar upstairs. Good cocktails / beer and snacks. Amazing views. Just wished the windows opened so we could snap pics without worrying about reflections or glares from the indoor lights. Great place to bring out of town visitors or a date.

The Columbia center is 933 feet high with 76 floors. The Sky View Observatory is at the 73rd floor. Its much taller than the Space Needle which is 605 feet tall. You can get 360 panoramic views from the top which is absolutely amazing!
Yes, it's pretty much free space once you're up top, besides the bar
Yes you can just go there but there are a lot of coupons online
Yes, the tickets are good for multiple entrances on the same day. We had visited there one and a half weeks back. However, to validate that you have to ask the gentleman at the desk in the viewing gallery to imprint the ink stamps on your hands. The ink stamp can be shown to the entryway at the bottom of the building on your subsequent entries.
We didn’t. It was Sunday - little or no wait.
I want to ask about Watford LLC which is located in the same area
I'm not certain
It costs 20 dollars
The Tilt is $ 8 & the ticket the the sky viewing is $ 22 You don't have to do the tilt if you don't want to but is good fun. Hope it helps x
There is pay covet parking one block away
$22 for adults, $19 for seniors students and veterans before tax.
4 and under are free!! And adult tickets are 22 $
You can get a stamp and come and go all day
Yes, the view will be absolutely the same. But now you get the pleasure of riding one elevator the whole way.
As far as I know the Sky View Observatory is closed on Christmas Day, Thanksgiving Day and New Year’s Day. However, it's better to double check. Cheers!
No
I haven't really visited during peak season. Still I think there isn't likely to be a problem since there is going to be a bigger crowd at space needle and chihuly glass museum which is located at Seattle Centre and is a bigger tourist attraction. Still there is no harm in booking ahead to save time.
