Good people, good shop. They have the best selection of quality tying materials and supplies in town, and their price points are the same (actually better in a lot of cases) than scheels, sportsman’s, and orvis. Everyone I’ve been helped by has also been generous with their knowledge of fishing the Truckee. Definitely make it a point to check out the shop if you’re in the Reno area or passing through.

Firm but fair. They expect you to wear your mask and ask that you use hand sanitizer upon entering the store. Nothing we aren't use to by now. They are friendly regarding this and are just as sick of this as the customers.
The fly shop is the place to go for the Truckee river. Jim the owner is the Truckee guru. Price is the same as the big chains but the knowledge of the entire staff is priceless.
