My wife and I moved to the Austin area during the middle of the pandemic and were worried what attending church in a new city would be like especially with all of the new regulations. The members adhered to social distancing and mask guidelines, and streaming was made available for those not comfortable attending. This combined with the warm personalities and powerful spirituality we felt make it a wonderful place to attend each week.

There are different start times, but the first congregation starts at 9:00, but that will be in Spanish if you go to the building on 1000 Rutherford Lane. Then 10:30am or 1:30pm. Church is 2 hours, with the first hour being a worship service with everyone together and the sacrament is given. The second hour is more of a Bible study session in which church goers split into different groups according to age or gender, so the learning can be more individualized and personal. I hope you attend!! You'll have a wonderful time! Look for missionaries: either two men or two women with name tags on, and they will love to help. Anyone will too, but they will be the best. ☺️

One of the missions of the church is to uplift and help those in need. Financial stability is indeed important, and they may be able to help you in that regard, but do not go in expecting this only. They will help you gain much more than financial help; in fact, if you go with an open heart, you'll gain more than you might have ever thought possible.
