Full disclosure, this was a catering order review. Though if you were considering getting catering from this restaurant, don’t! We ordered catering for a pre-wedding event (lunch) and we made a notice to them 2 weeks in advance. To start, the food wasn’t made properly. Half of the idli were uncooked, but the rest was alright. What was more egregious was how Chandra (employee, manager, we don’t know) treated our family. We were willing to pay upfront prior to the order but he only asked that we pay upon picking up the food the day of OR after the wedding. One of our extended uncles goes to pick up the food the day of, but we were uninformed that they wanted CASH ONLY. They insisted we pay $390 cash which we had on hand. Mind you, this wasn’t mentioned when we tried to pay with card prior to the order being placed. Whatever, we pay the 390 and we get the food. About 3 days later our direct family goes to the restaurant to pay since the restaurant had also told us we can come post wedding to pay and (this one is on us) the extended uncle who paid 390 cash didn’t let us know that he had covered it. We ended up giving them an additional $350 dollars (we brought up the bad idli and they gave us a discount) and they WILLFULLY ignored that we already paid them! Neither for the $350 or $390 transactions were we offered receipts and when we tried to get our money back they had us come multiple times over for the money. They officially charged us $350 due to bad idli discount but they would NOT give us the $390 back, they only gave us the $350. It’s already bad enough to force us to make a catering payment in cash, almost scamming customers until they figure it out isn’t a good look. If you go there, make sure you ask for anyone except Chandra.

the restaurant seems to not care about quality. I ordered the chana masala entree and carrot halwa dessert. chana masala: spices were mild and lifeless. rice was cold and dry. portions were small and price was high. the equivalent dish could be assembled by ordering a side of chana and a side of rice for 2/3 the cost. carrot halwa: highly sweet, questionable texture, came out clearly microwaved. the effort put into these items reflects the restaurant as a simple profit machine rather than a genuine expression of culture.

Delicious food with less oil and masala like a home cooked. Ala carte is little expensive compared to their lunch buffet.

Good food but lacks presentation and the place needs a good reno or atleast the entrance area should be kept well. Getting only vegetarian food is a treat so will definitely visit again but the restaurant owners should really look into customer feedbacks.

We went for supper on a weekday and there was no buffet.
No
Yes, there is a parking lot shared by multiple businesses but it is plenty big enough.
