I stay in a 1 bedroom apartment and it is very spacious. Not a bad price for how much space I have… however, I probably find a water bug almost every other night and I am terrified of bugs. I informed the front office before I moved in that there was mold on the windows. I’m unable to clean it myself because of how the window is placed in the apartment. Also, I recommend this property to have a 24 hotline just in case.

Ive had the worst experience yet i found 4 bugs near my matress.I called management and nothing was said.i then called back and left a message that i would call Code Enforcement .then i get a call back stating the community was having a bed bug issue .then and yup that what they were guy came out for the assessment said it was not that bad a level one.guy comes today to take care of the problem i asked was everything done correctly he stated yes should be fine.i leave for work to get a call that im being charged $200 because he claims i did do what i was supposed to.he tore open bags opened bins that i had washed and dry the items and left them exposed so now i have to do everything over. If you are thinking about moving here just know that you will be dealing with unscrupulous people.

We enjoyed very much the first floor unit we occupied by the pool. We were able to enjoy the ducks and fish. Enjoyed listening to the laughter of children on the playground. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Maintenance did an excellent job maintaining the property despite the disrespect many residents had of the property with littering, not cleaning up after their pets, jumping fence to get in pool when closed, damaging property etc.

I chose Park 2300 because of its close location to dining, shopping ,and highway 74. This is a nice gated community with lots of great amenities. I live in a 1 bedroom and really love the outdoor patio space. I took away a couple stars because I had to do a lot of deep cleaning when I first moved in. The fridge light was out, inside of the kitchen cabinets and drawers were dirty and had crumbs. Also, the kitchen and bathroom cabinets are kind of cheap quality. All of my cabinets are peeling and several of them don't close all the way. The bathroom mirror is damaged and the sink faucet is is grimy with limestone and tarnish. I've also been disappointed in the community pool. One of the big sells for me was that there were two really nice community pools. However, neither of the two pools have been open since I moved in. I understand they are having some contracting issues with them but its sad to not get any pool time considering summer is about to be over. Other than the few complaints I have this is a great apartment complex for me as a first time renter. The staff has been so kind and helpful. Maintenance is also very quick to respond to reports. Park 2300 is a great and safe area of Charlotte. All the shops and dining in Matthews is a quick 5-10 minute drive down the road. Perks: -always parking near my building -was able to have them add a washer dryer in the unit to an extra $40 a month on rent. -pet friendly -gym -2 pools (hopefully they'll be open soon) -gated community -great location
