You know hospitals are supposed to be places of emergency medical care here is my honest opinion when it takes 4 and 1/2 to 5 hours for one person to be seen one patient you either have a staffing problem or a work ethic problem now in either case choose another location this hospital's trash and I really don't care receptionist has attitudes and I'm just thankful that basically we had the time to wait but in some cases you don't that small town backwoods type thing exist here so if they know you you will be socially profiled and I stand by this comment but it reflects most places any small towns but health Care should not be administered this way tighten up

I was brought to evans memorial by ambulance from liberty regional with acute appendicitis. The nurses and doctors were waiting for me when I arrived took me straight to my room, and started initiatory taking care of me! Doctor parks and and the nursing staff were very professional and always stopped and answered my questions to were it was easy to understand. I am now back at home and recovering smoothly! Thank you for your professional help and caring staff.

They try to send you places against your will after they say there only going to hold 23 hours. They don't think you have the right to refuse service from outside the hospital. I really didn't want them to have 1 star cause they don't deserve it. I'll never recommend this place to anyone ever in my life.

@ Jamie Bruner.... as an ER nurse at a different facility..... if the only reason you were there was for an antibiotic then you shouldn't have been there at all. You should be at an urgent care clinic, or better yet, your primary doctor. If you were well enough to gripe about having to wait for services that you could have and SHOULD HAVE gotten in a nonemergent setting, then you were perfectly well enough to stay home and make an appointment with your primary doctor. JUST because you THINK you have an emergency doesn't mean that you actually do. So before you give a bad review about an EMERGENCY ROOM then make sure you were there for an actual emergency. BLESS IT! You also don't know what they had in the back i.e. ambulance patients or previous arrivals. Do better..... be a better person. Stop using the ER as your primary care. That is NOT what they are there for. Yours truly - an ER Nurse.

There is a physician in the hospital emergency room at all times. 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Probably if you only go in for an emergency. Because of covid they would probably rather you go to your doctor.
