I attended worship & weekly Bible study during COVID and during my relocation to Georgia. Be assured that the “in person live version” is even better. I found a warm & welcoming congregation. Masks were worn and safety precautions were taken during the Lords supper. Plenty of classes to attend for fellowship. Overall, Excellent visit.

Great lesson from Revelations in Wednesday Night Bible Study. This is a safe environment with friendly members who made me feel welcome. I will visit again the next time I'm in the area.

It is true that God established the Sabbath as the day of worship in Old Testament times. Christ, indeed, lived under that covenant and therefore observed the Sabbath. Jesus was sent to establish a new and better law. Upon his death, burial and resurrection, a new testament was enforced. Thus, the former laws were no longer in effect and the Sabbath was no longer the required day of worship. The church, established by Christ, met on the first day of the week. Appropriately, this was the day on which Christ arose. This is shown by the examples of the apostles and of the first Christian churches. Refer to I Cor. 11:23-26; 16:1-2; Matt. 26:26-29; Acts 2:42; 20:7. It is confirmed in secular history as well.
Christ did not establish a Baptist, Methodist, Lutheran, etc. Church. He desired Christians to be unified in one body, of which He was the head. We try to abide by the dictates of the Bible without adding to or taking away anything.
