Yes there are pecan trees there.

The upper respiratory infection they have are from sniffing old dried up feces from multiple dogs. This infection is not covered by the ‘Kennel Cough’ vaccine, multiple forms of bacteria, viruses, molds, fungi, etc., also cause severe illnesses!

I sympathize with your situation! This condition is dangerous to all dogs who visit the park but especially to elderly or sick ones. I have loved & cared for 7 senior dogs through the discomfort & illnesses of aging. Now I have 2 small dogs, 1 pg which h is a 4-yr-old chihuaha with stage 3 kidney disease. I can't imagine taking them to the park under these circumstances! Luckily I have a large play yard for them, but (as a 71-yr old recent widow) I would like to take them to the park.
