I’ve been living in Capital Square (presidential plaza) for almost a year. I moved in at the beginning of November and it was fine. Two months after being in my apartment, things started to fall apart. The tub they put in starter to come apart from the wall. During the warmer months it got worse. We have been having ac problems since the beginning of May. I ac run 24/7 because it’s too hot to turn off. Even though it runs all day, our house is still 85+ degrees. We were told that if it’s above 80 degrees outside, it is considered an emergency. But they don’t care. This has caused our light bill to become $300+ each month. You will also notice that a lot of people have ac window units so I’m assuming a lot of people don’t have ac. I say this to say it’s not worth moving here. The lack of care you receive from maintenance and it’s just terrible in my opinion. If you don’t mind being hot all day then this is the perfect place for you.

I've lived here for nearly 7 years and have had moments of where I would have to remind the old maintenance team of not forgetting my apartment issues but every time I've made a complaint, Ms. Baker and Mgt. have worked to resolve my issues. And no, I'm not paid to say these things. I believe its factual that if you are a caring resident and not destructive then you will have no issues at all. Yes and it's true that neighbors are like any other neighbors but the new mgt team and owner are weeding out the problematic residents and things are progressing. So the concerns,"Are they kicking people out" and the answer is "NO". With the new mgt and renovations, "you are asked to make your own choice of staying and transferring to a newly renovated apt. or if you don't want to pay what is neg on both parties, you and with mgt., it is only then you are tomake preparations to move on at your own will and discretion. But they are not throwing people out as once believed and said. Ms. Baker is back and I've stayed to myself and busy with work and school so all of the other things I cannot speak for what I don't see or hear. But hey,in today's time, who has time for bsn anymore. Let's get this money.....and keep it moving.
