I have came into contact with 4 deputies here lately. They have very smart mouths an bad attitudes. They seem as if the badge gives them the right to treat people however they want. I have been a citizen of this county my whole life 39 yrs never been in trouble with the law. Very disappointed with the current state of things

My family came to Madison County 100 yrs ago and my grandfather Henry Brown was the Sheriff during the first half of the 20th century. I followed in his footsteps working as a State Law Enforcement Officer and Ga city policeman. It's up to each county and city municipality to organize their holidays, however State offices like the unemployment office are closed accordingly. Emergency services however remain running everyday of the year in all facilities from federal, state, county, city (municipal) included.
