I heard about there being some altercations this year but last year was awesome when I went with my kids.. the entrance is off of May Royal and at Gate 5.. they beefed up the security when they had issues this year so I doubt anyone else will be causing problems with so many officers patrolling

The fair is only a week long.I went while it was in Aiken and it was the first night. The fair ran all week.

Only one entrance. You park in a field and walk to the gate.

They vary depending on the ride. There will be a stand for your children to stand under that is marked with height in inches and will show if your child can go on it or not. Last year, none of this mattered because the operators neither spoke nor read English and just let everyone on every ride regardless of height requirements, so I recommend paying close attention to it as a parent for concern for your child's safety.

Just go to the fair office and ask. It is located on the fairgrounds. They normally do need help setting up and tearing down the rides but the office is where you can go to find out and sign up.
