Lindsay and the team at Gateaux did our wedding cake and desserts! Lindsay did a fantastic job of working with us to create our wedding cake! We had no idea what we wanted for it, but knew we didn't want a "traditional" wedding cake. Lindsay asked us for some pictures of my gown, invitation, colors and what we liked and didn't like From there, she sent us a sketch of what she had in mind for the cake and it was awesome! Not only do her cakes and desserts taste amazing, but the cake looked awesome! Lindsay had crafted a work of art in depicting Lake Lure onto our cake! It looked like a topography of the lake and was just perfect! Lindsay was easy to work with and her talent far exceeded our expectations! We highly recommend her services for your wedding or any other event or just because!

Lindsay and her team are absolutely SPECTACULAR! I have ordered multiple cakes and desserts from her and each time I am blown away by not only how beautiful they are, but also how delicious! Lindsay created the perfect Beatrix Potter cake for our baby shower with stunning detail that was truly the pièce de résistance of the shower. This month, we celebrated my friend's 30th birthday with a chocolate-raspberry-mocha mousse cake and the entire group agreed that it was the best cake they've ever had, hands-down. The detail and love that goes into creating each dessert is truly special. Gateaux is now my go-to bakery for all special events!
