I usually enjoy the toddler story time .. but today story time opened up with “rules” and the story teller saying “if you can’t follow the rules please leave “ the class is 15 month - 3 years old . Do you really think these kids understand these “rules “ . I was asked to leave in a passive aggressive manner. Embarrassed and frustrated I walked out with my child . This is so disappointing for a stay at home mom , with no friends or family around for over 500 miles . Thank you for making my 2 year old leave the only interaction with other kids she will have today . And thanks for making this mom’s struggle a bit harder today as well . I truly expected more from Hendersonville Public Library.

Doesn't look like it, their website says to visit a branch in person with identification ( I believe your driver's license and a piece of mail with your name and address on it to prove residence are all you need ) to get your library card~ After that there are a bunch of online resources though!

Just bring them in the back door of the library and you will see other books stacked in the right hand corner of the vestible, before you go through the automatic door to access the library space.
The library has not carried state or federal forms for a few years. We can print whatever is available online for $.10 a page.
Go online to your account or go by library. Instructions online are very good. Remember you have to have your library card with your number.
