Horrible place to work!! Management definitely needs to be replaced and also working all the time by yourself with 27 30 residents is absolutely horrible! If I could give this place a negative I definitely would! Stay far far far away from this place!

My dad is a resident of The Blake. After a far less than perfect experience at another facility, we found The Blake and could not be happier. Everyone has been extremely attentive and welcoming. It feels like one big happy family here as everyone on the staff treats my father as if he is their own. My family highly recommends The Blake to anyone who is looking for a place they can trust to take care of their loved ones.

I really didn’t like working there they were not very good at accommodating me for my disability I try to have my weekends off for family and they told me I could only have every other weekend off then they told me I asked off to many days which mainly they were for appointments and family time and I was really annoyed they didn’t care at all it was like they just wanted me to leave because they were treating with so much disrespect and I didn’t like how they were cussing in the kitchen I was very disappointed in ms Renee I really thought she would take care of me because she said it herself I totally understand because I have a grand daughter with special needs and she basically yelled at me because I wasn’t speeding up with serving and then she switched me to a dishwasher she was basically yelling at me because I wasn’t going fast and I really can’t help I can’t move as fast because of my mental disability like if your gonna hire someone with a disability Adless accomdate to their needs and they wouldn’t even find me something eles do like they were trying to get me to leave my anxiety kept going up and down and I couldn’t stand being a enclosed space the only person who actually had respect for me was Fred and angel and some of the coworkers then I was yelled at by one of the cooks named Sabrina because Aparently I wasn’t sweeping how she wanted I feel like everyone in the kitchen accept for Fred and angel and some of the coworkers act like kids it’s total disappointment I was trying to make myself feel welcomed by making friends and she told me not to get involved
