can’t reach anyone at all to get help with anything you need. i’ve called this number well over 30 times and haven’t gotten to speak to anyone after waiting hours an hours every phone call. complete waste of time.

I would give this place 0 stars if i could, and being that said because the evaluator at this location is clearly not trained properly nor has the qualifications used to helping a person find the answers they need. And is extremely rude when asked questions they dont know the answer-and pointing the finger making it seem like i dont understand; when clearly she needs proper training.

Try calling them early in the morning (this was the only time I could reach a person) and make sure they have your correct address.
You shouldn't have to report it to DVS. Anything further that happens with your car will be through the police and your insurance. You did everything right.
My mom gave my son her car as she is no longer able to drive. The vehicle was a gift from her to my son, no money was exchanged. My son received a letter saying he owes sales tax on this vehicle. How do we prove it was a gift?

Depends on the value of the car but assuming it's not worth a whole lot(15k) you shouldn't have to pay sales tax on it. When you apply for new title someone should asked how you acquired the vehicle and you should put it down as gift and put 0 for the sale price.

I'm not exactly sure but if I recall correctly you'll need a copy of the death certificate, the vehicle title, payment of appropriate fees, certificate affidavit copy of the collection of personal property, driver license, insurance info. But I don't work there so my best bet is for you to call and ask them directly.

Is it for a regular license or CDL? If it is for regular license (class D or under 21) you need to set up an appointment otherwise if it is for CDL you can just go in and check-in and wait (its first come, first served). I recommend going as early in the morning as possible, as close to their open time as possible.
I am wondering how we transfer the ownership of an UTV from one private party to the other? I do not believe that there is a title for the UTV.

2 pieces of ID.....like birth certificate and social security card. It also depends on what type of ID you are trying to get. In Minnesota we currently have 3 different types including Standard,Enhanced and Real ID.
You need to request a driving record. You can print the form from the website and mail it in. DL numbers can't be given out except to the person it belongs to in person or by office request form.
Would I be able to get birth certificates for my two children here, instead of going through the city (Bemidji, MN) they were born in?

Go to the official dmv website for Minnesota and and send them a email with the vin number license plate number and insurance info. Because there is a problem with the new system they are running two to three months behind on issuing tabs. They will eventually respond and send you a pdf to print off and tape in your rear window that gives you the right to drive with the expired tabs
