The photo is a summary of MnDot’s critical thinking. A 10 mile swath of interstate cones off with zero work being completed therein. Simple things like rotating 24 hour shifts by contractors, rolling cone zones that move with the work instead of blocking off miles of road that will EVENTUALLY be worked on, and not stacking work on viable detour routes would improve completion times and quality of life for commuters. But they don’t care and aren’t known to be, as a whole, robust thinkers.

I live in the 3600 block. Where they put a sewer access, they never finished. Left the area, full of rocks, tire ruts, & pieces of wood pallet. Not cuttable with any lawn mower, without breaking it.

Thank you, I see the city is failing miserably at be transparent. Why it's closed seems to be a secret.
Hi Virginia, this is the wrong department for that service. You are actually looking for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV). It was located in the Sears building (across from the MnDOT building), but since Sears closed down, it moved a few blocks down to 200 W. University Ave in January of 2019. Search MN DMV St paul and it should pop up very close to this location on the map! I hope this helps!
Hi Joi, thanks for reaching out. Please use this form: mndot.gov/information/submit.html Safe travels!
Hi Marlys, yes, Hwy 19 is currently open. However, it has opened and closed many times this spring. The best place to get information on road closures is 511mn.org. Whenever the road closes, we put it on the 511 map.
Good question. The latest from MnDOT communications & the State Patrol is they DO NOT KNOW! I can tell you they are sending many extra crews & equipment from the Metro & St. Cloud to help clear roads. Makes it difficult when so many did not heed Warnings and now left vehicles abandoned on the Interstates & many other roads. Be patient, they will get it done.

MnDOT maintains state highways and interstates, not city streets or county roads. You will need to contact your city.
