Great place for congregate lunch program. Library, billiard room, activities. Social services. My general impression is that the facility is run more for the benefit of staff than for the benefit of Seniors. The game room is now a staff office. All staff offices have barriers to prevent Seniors from interacting with staff. What you will see here is Millennials sitting behind desks while Seniors with canes and walkers are standing in line. This is a Senior pain zone...

AARP will be there Feb 5th through April 10th on Tuesdays and wednesdays from 8am-11am. It is first come first serve. No appointments.
Try the legal serevices at the Washoe County services on 9th street. Should they not be helpful, try NV Legal services, or northern Nevada Legal.
Washoe County has a Meals on Wheels program. However, lacking transportation is not a qualifying circumstance for the program.
Yes, they are doing them now! Should call ahead and make an appointment!
Not sure, but if they can't they certainly can steer you in the right direction for alternative assistance.
No, call or go online, Washoe county public library.
Yes l just picked one up
This was 7 mos ago, and I don’t know what agency provides this service, but it’s called Shopping Angels. My next door neighbor uses them because of a broken ankle and says his shopper is wonderful.
No, it is not. Just from Monday to Friday. I believe from 11:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
Corner of Sutro and 9th next to the Livestock Event Center
Just a bit, nothing dramatic.
No there is,no pool
The senior center provides programs for seniors like legal services, and low income housing opportunities. They serve lunch Mon-Fri from 11:15 to 12:30. They have a lot of nice activities for seniors to enjoy.
I don't work here. But, I believe there are people who can hand out pages of community resources to those in need.
Yes. Come in or call and ask about Homemaker services.
Call housing authority 775-329-3630 or go to senior center and they will give you places that are round reno
60 and older lunches are free all others are 4.00$
Check the senior services website. There should be a link there to the senior law project run through washoe legal services. It will have all the services offered and contact info to schedule an appointment.
Yes
There is a center at the Neil Rd community center. They do serve lunch there.
Check their website... They have an activity calendar posted with the day and time of all the activities at each center location.
You will have to call 77532 8 2575 and ask them if they have a counselor there and what day I know they used to but with the budget they have things changed good luck!!
Call RTC for information about the Ride Access service.
Yes, call them for dates and times.
To receive lunch free (suggested donation $2.00) you must be 60 years old. Any one else may eat lunch for a cost of $4.00.
